Wix Harmony Review: Why I Am NOT Switching My Clients Yet

Wix just dropped a bomb on the web design world.

It is called Wix Harmony. It is their new "AI-first" editor. If you believe the marketing, it is going to change everything. It promises "Vibe Coding," where you just talk to an AI agent named Aria, and she builds the website for you.

I have spent the last 48 hours testing it. It is sleek. It is fast. It is definitely the future.

But if you run a serious business in the USA or Canada, you should NOT use it yet. This honest Wix Harmony review explains why.

Everyone wants the newest iPhone. But in software, "Version 1.0" usually means "Bugs."

Wix Harmony is incredible technology. But as a Busigner, my job is not to give you cool tech. My job is to give you a stable business asset.

Here is why I am keeping all my clients on the Wix Classic Editor for now.

Reason #1: The "Missing Apps" Problem

This is the dealbreaker nobody is talking about.

Wix Harmony runs on a completely new architecture. Because of this, many Wix Blocks apps and third-party widgets are NOT compatible yet.

Imagine building a beautiful AI site. Then you realize the booking system or reviews widget you need doesn't show up.

• Wix Classic Editor: Has 10+ years of App Market integrations. Everything works.

• Wix Harmony: Is still learning to talk to the ecosystem.

Reason #2: Control vs Chaos

Harmony relies on "Auto-Responsiveness." You ask Aria to "make it pop," and she shifts the layout.

For a hobbyist, this is magic. For a brand that needs its logo exactly 20px from the top, it is a nightmare.

In the Classic Editor, if I put a button somewhere, it stays there. You can drag it. You can move it. It behaves. In Harmony, the AI fights you for control.

What About Wix Studio?

I get asked this every day. "Darshan, why don't you build my site in Wix Studio?"

Studio is a powerhouse. But it is built for designers, not business owners. If I build your site in Studio, you have to call me every time you want to change a headline.

My mission is different. I built on Wix Classic because it is the only platform where you can manage your own business without a coding degree.

The Verdict: Wait for v2.0

Wix Harmony will eventually replace the Classic Editor. That is a fact. But that day is not today.

Right now, let the hobbyists beta-test the bugs. We will stick to the Classic Editor. It is the platform powering millions of dollars in sales without a glitch.
